Challenge
Browsing was fine on desktop and painful on a phone, which is where most of the traffic actually came from.
Approach
I reworked the grid and filters mobile-first, cut the product page to what decides a purchase, and specified every loading and empty state up front.
Outcome
A catalogue that stays usable on a slow connection, with a component set the developers could build straight from.
